A 40-year-old Stafford resident faces felony charges after intoxicated juveniles were involved in a serious accident after attending a party at her residence.

On July 28th at approximately 8:46 p.m. Deputies D.L. Brookman, J.W. Ahern, and T.G. Croson responded to the Glens subdivision for a report of a disturbance. It was advised there was a party involving juveniles consuming alcohol. While en route, deputies were informed of a head-on collision on Stefangia Road that took priority. When Deputy Brookman arrived on scene, he located juveniles that were involved, many of which were intoxicated.

It was discovered the four juveniles in the at fault vehicle were previously at the Glens subdivision address. While the juvenile driver was sober, she did not possess a license, and was driving the vehicle due to the other three juveniles being intoxicated. All four were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.

As clean up was underway, Deputy Ahern and Deputy Croson responded to the Glens subdivision address where they located the sole adult, Chelsea Ashworth. She confirmed she was within the residence during the party.

Due to juveniles drinking within her residence and leaving while intoxicated, Ashworth was charged with three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and four counts of felony child endangerment. There is no mugshot since she was released by the magistrate on personal recognizance. Criminal complaints for underage possession of alcohol will be submitted for the three juveniles involved.
