The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office needs your help locating Tyrone Wilson, 24, of Spotsylvania, who fled from deputies in South Stafford Saturday.

On July 22nd at approximately 9:16 p.m. Deputy C.C. Lee was in the area of Drew Middle School when he observed a Southbound vehicle traveling 69 MPH in a 45 MPH zone. Deputy Lee initiated his emergency equipment to conduct a traffic stop; however, the vehicle began accelerating instead. A pursuit was kicked off as the driver swerved into oncoming traffic on Richmond Highway. The vehicle continued onto Truslow Road where deputies lost sight of it only for a moment.

Deputy D.S. Jett observed the suspect vehicle on Havenwoods Way and once again a traffic stop was attempted; however, the vehicle once again began accelerating. The vehicle continued onto Enon Road and eventually to Richmond Highway where the driver committed multiple traffic violations, and even forced another vehicle off the road. The pursuit continued on Richmond Highway until the area of Hope Road where deputies lost sight of the vehicle.

The vehicle was located unoccupied on Malvern Hill Court. Within the vehicle were multiple legal documents, as well as, business cards with Tyrone Wilson’s name on it. After reviewing dashcam footage, the suspect driver matched the appearance of Wilson, and it was discovered he had access to the vehicle.

Wilson is wanted for multiple charges including felony eluding, four counts of red-light violations, reckless driving, and driving while suspended.
