Two wanted individuals were discovered and arrested after some vigilant citizens noticed their odd behavior Friday afternoon.
On September 1st at approximately 6:21 p.m. Sergeant S.C. Jett and Sergeant M.L. Jacobeen were at Walmart, located at 217 Garrisonville Road, for an unrelated incident. While there, a citizen informed them of people who looked “very high” getting into a vehicle. Moments after starting to look for the vehicle, they were approached again by another citizen stating the same thing.
Sergeant Jett and Sergeant Jacobeen were able to locate the suspect vehicle and conducted a traffic stop across the street at the Quality Inn. The male occupant, Brian Lewis, 44, of Woodbridge, provided a false identification which was quickly found out. Lewis was discovered to be hiding his true identity due to the fact he was wanted out of Prince William County for two counts of possession of controlled substances. The female occupant, Angela Moore, 35, of Colonial Beach, was also wanted but did not attempt to hide her true self. She was wanted out of both Fairfax and Orange County for failure to appear.
Within the vehicle, the sergeants discovered suspected controlled substances that belong to each of them. Lewis was charged with possession of controlled substances and falsely identifying himself to law enforcement. Moore was charged with possession of controlled substances. Both were served on their outstanding warrants and held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond. |
