UPDATE: Sabrina Bermudez turned herself in today. She was held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $5,000 secured bond.

In March of 2020, Deputy T.A. Vasquez began an investigation into an embezzlement. The investigation revealed the suspect, Sabrina Bermudez, 37, of Dumfries, was working as a property manager for an apartment complex. While employed, Bermudez was collecting leasing fees, but showing the fees had been waived in the business’ system. The money collected was never deposited into the business’ account. During an audit, the business discovered Bermudez had stolen money in this manner several times dating back to 2019. Several thousands of dollars were reported stolen.

Sabrina Bermudez is wanted for six counts of embezzlement, six counts of obtaining goods by false pretenses, and six counts of forgery/uttering.
