On October 4 at 9:02 p.m., Deputy R.M. Connelly was responding to a report of an assault on Ballantrae Court when he was advised the suspect was in a vehicle attempting to leave the area. Deputy Connelly observed the vehicle parked and was able to detain the suspect, Rochelle Murdock.

Deputies responded to the residence on Ballantrae Court and learned the incident began when Murdock assaulted a male victim and was ordered to leave. Once outside, Murdock began yelling and banging on the front door. Murdock then forced entry through a rear door and assaulted a second male victim inside the residence. Murdock left the residence when she was told the Sheriff’s Office had been called. It was also discovered Murdock damaged the residence’s railing and siding during the incident.

Rochelle Murdock, 24, of King George, was arrested for two counts of assault, breaking and entering, destruction of property, and public intoxication. She was held without bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
