Stafford, VA. Multiple suspects were arrested on Sunday night by deputies with the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office following a disturbance at the Super 8 Motel.

On March 15, 2020, at approximately 10:12 p.m., Deputy Whitt responded to a reported disturbance with a weapon at the Super 8 Motel located at 557 Warrenton Road. The 911 caller advised that a group of individuals was attempting to attack her and her boyfriend with a knife. Fortunately, the victims were able to secure their motel room door and were not injured.

Additional units arrived on the scene and began searching for suspects. Several suspects were located walking nearby in the area of the old Ponderosa building and Hardee’s, and were subsequently arrested. Two additional suspects were located in the woods and taken into custody.

Deputies learned that one of the suspects got into a verbal altercation with the victims. The group then followed the victims to their room, and the two male suspects pulled out a knife and made threats.

John Childs II, 25, of Manassas, VA and Terrell Kelly, 19, of Stafford were charged with assault by mob. The suspects were incarcerated on secured bonds at Rappahannock Regional Jail.

Charges for attempted assault by mob were obtained for Shawnette Wright, 18, of Manassas, VA; Natori Henry, 22, of Winchester, VA; Alexis Doggett, 20, of Spotsylvania, VA; and Macy Macewen, 20, of Warrenton, VA. They were subsequently released.
