Stafford, VA. A wanted suspect behind a pursuit that occurred in Stafford County last weekend was arrested on Tuesday night in Prince William County.

On February 5, 2019, Britney Bates, 34, of King George was taken into custody by the Prince William County Police Department. Bates was wanted on numerous charges out of Stafford County for his involvement in a pursuit that began on Kings Highway and ended in Prince William County on Sunday, February, 3, 2019.

Bates is incarcerated at Rappahannock Regional Jail on charges of felony eluding, felony hit and run, felony destruction of property, reckless driving, driving revoked, identity theft, providing false identity to law enforcement, and several traffic violations.
