POLICE ACTIVITY ALERT: An intoxicated male subject who has been identified as James Edward Baumann struck several vehicles at Stafford Marketplace before exiting the vehicle and fleeing on foot. He eventually climbed onto the roof of the Five Guys restaurant and attempted to hide in an A/C unit where deputies discovered him. He has been taken into custody. Deputies also learned he is wanted out of three jurisdictions—Stafford County, Prince William County, and Spotsylvania County. We will continue to provide updates here.
