A King George woman was arrested for DUI Saturday after an off-duty deputy reported her poor driving behavior.
On May 27th at 5:10 p.m. Deputy C.C. Lee responded to the area of Kings Highway and Cool Spring Road for a possible intoxicated driver. An off-duty Stafford County deputy had witnessed a Honda Odyssey swerving in the lane of travel as it entered Stafford County.
Deputy Lee located the Honda and observed it speeding. A traffic stop was conducted at Kings Highway and Albion Lane. The driver was identified as a 37-year-old female and she had the odor of an alcoholic beverage. She acknowledged having 2 mimosas while downtown.
Field sobriety tests were offered and she was arrested. She was charged with DUI and held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail until sober.
Driver sober or get pulled over. |
