| On 12/15/2025, at approximately 3:57 p.m., deputies responded to a residence on Cliff Circle for a reported breaking and entering. It was described that a male subject broke in and was located inside of the residence with a gun.
Deputy H. R. Perkins arrived on scene and began the investigation. Deputy Perkins learned that a juvenile arrived home from school to find that the door to their home was unlocked. When the juvenile opened the door there was a male inside of the home with a gun. The male turned around and pointed a gun at the juvenile telling the juvenile that they could come inside. The juvenile fled to a nearby family member’s house.
A perimeter was formed around the home and deputies were able to confirm the male was still inside of the home. After a brief barricade, the suspect was taken into custody without incident. The suspect was in possession of a firearm at the time of his arrest.
The suspect was identified as Damian Wright, 28, of Stafford. Wright was charged with breaking and entering with the intent to commit a felony, brandishing a firearm, abduction by force, intimidation, or deception and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Wright was held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail under no bond. |
