| On September 30th, at approximately 4:36 p.m., deputies responded to the area of Courthouse Road and Kelsey Road for an auto accident. It was advised a Harley Davidson trike motorcycle had flipped over.
When deputies arrived, they located the overturned motorcycle. The 48-year-old driver was transported to a nearby hospital where he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced as deceased.
The preliminary investigation, along with an eyewitness account, revealed the motorcycle was traveling westbound on Courthouse Road. While doing so, the motorcycle drifted to the right and accidentally struck a curb. This would make the motorcycle tumble over.
The victim was identified as Denver Steele of Stafford. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victim’s friends and family. The crash is still under investigation by Deputy J.W. McAlister. If anyone has information, or witnessed the crash, they are asked to contact Deputy McAlister at 540-658-4450. |
