A suspect brandished a firearm and threatened to “kill everybody” after an aggressive encounter in a South Stafford business.
On July 13th, at approximately 5:12 p.m., Deputy L.T. Smith and Deputy W.A. Bolinsky responded to Shell, located at 626 Warrenton Road, for a brandishing offense. It was advised a male had brandished a firearm and threatened to cause harm. Deputies made contact with witnesses and observed camera footage to determine what happened.
It was determined a male suspect entered the business and placed a honey packet into his pocket. Shortly after, he would engage in an argument with the store’s clerk. During the aggressive encounter, the suspect pulled out a black handgun from his waistband. The suspect advised everyone was “lucky” he was there with his granddaughter or he would “kill everybody.” The suspect would then leave with two other males and a juvenile female in a black SUV.
The suspect was described as a black male wearing a blue hat, white shirt, and shorts. He also has tattoos on both arms. If you have any information, or witnessed the offense, please contact the Sheriff’s Office at 540-658-4450. |
