A Woodbridge man, who was wanted by Virginia State Police, was located with items that can’t be found at your local CVS.
On July 6th at approximately 10:18 p.m. First Sergeant B.U. Demirci and Deputy P.J. Leon were traveling in the area of Chatham Heights Road. While doing so, they observed a Ford with an expired registration sticker. A traffic stop was conducted at McDonald’s, but it wouldn’t be ending with a Happy Meal.
Deputies made contact with both the driver and passenger. The passenger, identified as Horace Brunson, 29, was discovered to be wanted by Virginia State Police for a felony weapon offense. He was detained without incident. In his possession deputies located not only a large amount of cash, but a large amount of narcotics.
Brunson was served on his outstanding warrant and additionally charged with the distribution of narcotics. He was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond. |
