Two individuals attempted to steal over $2,000 worth of items, but were caught red handed by fast acting deputies.
On May 8th around noon, Sergeant J.W. Hutcheson and Deputy K.R. Sprinkles responded to Kohl’s, located at 1220 Stafford Market Place, for a larceny. Staff advised a duo was being pretty obvious with their larceny attempt by stuffing duffel bags to the brim with merchandise.
Deputies were on scene as the suspects were about to make their grand escape. When deputies approached the pair, the male attempted to hide behind a rack of clothes. His game of hide and seek was quickly ended. The female was detained without incident.
The male, George Delarosa, 26, of no affixed address, had over $1,100 worth of stolen items while the female, Banelly Osorio-Ordonez, 20, of no affixed address, had over $1,200 worth of stolen items. Both were charged with grand larceny and shoplifting. The pair was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond. |
