A 40-year-old Stafford man received no bond after making the choice to drive recklessly while intoxicated.
On October 8th at approximately 1:45 a.m. Deputy N.J. Amato responded to the intersection of Hartwood Road and Hartwood Church Road for a single vehicle accident. The caller advised they “rolled over” and two of the four occupants were still stuck inside.
All occupants were removed from the vehicle. It was advised all the occupants were celebrating a recent graduation and they were consuming alcohol, including the driver, Guy Sarracino. Sarracino admitted to consuming at least five mixed drinks. A witness responded to the scene and informed Deputy Amato they had seen the vehicle driving recklessly prior to the crash. They advised the vehicle was traveling at estimated speeds close to 130MPh down I-95, then proceeded to weave aggressively through traffic down Warrenton Road.
Sarracino was charged with driving under the influence, maiming while driving under the influence, and two counts of reckless driving. He was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond. |
