Customers at a Stafford County IHOP found the eggs weren’t the only things being beaten on Saturday afternoon and deputies made several arrests after stopping a vehicle leaving the scene. Unwaffle activity will not be tolerated here.

On August 26th at 2:30 p.m. deputies responded for a fight at the IHOP on Simpson Road. Witnesses provided the tag information of a black Chevy SUV that fled the scene toward Warrenton Road. Deputy B.W. Gildea was in perfect position to intercept the vehicle and conducted a high whisk traffic stop on Warrenton Road near I-95, providing some eggcitement for those stuck in traffic in the area. Additional deputies scrambled to the area to assist, though their entrance was not syruptitious with their lights and sirens activated.

The investigation revealed there was a beef between the combatants from an incident in Colonial Beach earlier this year. A juvenile at the IHOP threw a glass of liquid on another subject and then several people began assaulting the juvenile. Fortunately there were no serious injuries in the melee. Reviewing the video at the restaurant, deputies never sausage a fight.

A 19-year-old female and a 37-year-old female, both from Fredericksburg, were arrested in the black SUV. They were each charged with assault by mob. The magistrate must have felt they were not a danger to society as he said omelette you go on an unsecured bond.

A criminal complaint for assault and battery is being submitted to Juvenile Intake for the juvenile combatant.
