The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office needs your help locating Brandon Williams, 27, of Stafford, who fled from deputies in North Stafford yesterday.
On July 11th at approximately 3:10 p.m. Deputy J.E. Alford was at the intersection of Richmond Highway and Kings Crest Drive when he observed a vehicle traveling Southbound. The vehicle was traveling 68 MPH in a 45 MPH zone with dark tinted windows. Deputy Alford turned on his emergency equipment to conduct a traffic stop.
Instead of pulling over like a majority of people would, the driver continued past Acadia Street, turned onto Potomac Hills Drive, before turning onto Wind Ridge Drive. The vehicle came to a sudden stop and the driver began fleeing on foot. Deputy Alford secured the vehicle and passenger as nearby units began setting up a perimeter. The driver was identified as Brandon Williams, who had a suspended driver’s license. Deputies continued their search for Williams to no avail. The passenger was released without any charges.
Williams is a bald black male with facial hair, approximately 5’06” and 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and black shorts. He is known to reside in Garrison Woods. Williams is currently wanted for reckless driving, driving with a suspended license, window obstruction, eluding police, and fleeing law enforcement.
