Deputies got a bit of Déjà vu after once again trespassing a 40-year-old Stafford man from Garrison Woods.

On July 7th at approximately 7:00 p.m. First Sergeant D.W. Fetterolf and Sergeant M.E. Gordon were in the Garrison Woods neighborhood for an unrelated incident when they were approached by the office manager. The manager pointed out a male walking to a residence and identified him as someone who had been trespassed from the area and he was recently arrested for trespassing on July 2nd.

When First Sergeant Fetterolf and Sergeant Gordon concluded their current business, they made their way to the residence they observed the suspect enter. While the individual who opened the door couldn’t advise if the suspect was inside or not, First Sergeant Fetterolf could. It appeared the suspect had not played hide and seek before considering First Sergeant Fetterolf could see him in a reflection on a mirror that was in the residence. He was asked to exit the residence.

The suspect was subsequently arrested for trespassing. During a search incident to arrest, deputies discovered he was still carrying his previous trespass warrant and committal order. Due to him once again returning, the suspect was able to add another trespass warrant to his growing collection. He was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
