You’re in trouble if you attempt to smuggle certain items into jail. A wanted woman found that fact out after arriving to provide a urine sample. Yes, you probably know where this is going.

On February 15th at approximately 6:27 p.m. Deputy E.E. Donkor responded to Rappahannock Regional Jail located at 1745 Richmond Highway. A woman was in the pre-trial lobby about to provide a urine sample. It was discovered the woman was wanted out of Spotsylvania for a revocation of pretrial release.

The woman was served on her outstanding warrant; however, the story unfortunately does not stop there. Jail staff searched the woman and found suspected controlled substances in her bra. When Deputy Donkor inquired why such a thing would be in her bra, she advised she didn’t know it was there.

If that was not enough, a glove was also located in her underwear. Inside the glove was urine she had purchased. She admitted she attempted to smuggle it in to beat the urine test. The only thing she smuggled in was another warrant.

The woman was served on her outstanding warrant and additionally charged with attempting to defeat a drug screening test. Additional charges are pending. She was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
