Despite the return of the McRib, a McDonald’s customer got into a beef with staff yesterday morning and was arrested for several offenses.

On October 25th at 9:19 a.m. Deputy R.M. Connelly responded to the McDonald’s in the Towne Center at Aquia for a disturbance. Staff reported an intoxicated customer had been asked to leave and threw trash at an employee. Deputies learned the suspect had paired his breakfast entrée with an alcoholic beverage he brought into the restaurant and became loud and belligerent.

The suspect was located near Washington Drive and identified as James Beach, 34. Beach was charged with assault and battery and public intoxication. He was held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail until sober enough to participate in a bond hearing.
