Detectives are working to solve a murder which occurred in a North Stafford apartment complex last night.

On September 7th at 10:36 p.m. deputies responded to a shooting on Declaration Drive. They arrived to find an adult male on the ground in front of an apartment building, suffering from a gunshot wound. Sergeant D.T. Aubrecht, Deputy C.J. Sacke and Deputy A.T. Leckemby, with the assistance of bystanders, provided first aid to the victim until medics arrived on scene.

Unfortunately, the victim succumbed to his wound a short time later at the hospital. Detectives worked through the night collecting evidence at the scene.
