A Stafford man was arrested yesterday evening for second offense DUI after a traffic accident in North Stafford.

On July 3rd at 7:08 p.m. Deputy E.E. West responded to an auto accident in the 200 block of Garrisonville Road. The investigation revealed the driver of a Dodge Challenger had improperly changed lanes and struck a Buick Enclave.

The driver of the Dodge was identified as Jhon Delrio, 43. Delrio had the odor of alcoholic beverage on his breath and red, glassy eyes. Field sobriety tests were offered and he was arrested.

Delrio was charged with DUI second offense in five years with a blood alcohol content between .15 and .20 and the traffic lane violation. He was held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $5,000 bond.
