A wanted Stafford man was arrested for an outstanding warrant after a rollover crash on Poplar Road.

On June 3rd at 9:54 p.m. First Sergeant B.W. Collins and Deputy L.T. Ward responded to a single vehicle crash in the 900 block of Poplar Road. The deputies arrived to find a 2011 Chrysler Town and Country overturned in the roadway.

The driver was identified as Terrel Cole, 36. Cole advised he was avoiding a deer and ran off the road, striking a tree and overturning. He was treated for minor injuries by Stafford Fire and Rescue at the scene.

Deputies determined Cole was wanted in Culpeper for probation violation and his license to drive was revoked. Cole was served the outstanding warrant and charged with driving revoked. He was held without bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
