A suspect was jailed without bond after being stopped for several traffic infractions and found to be intoxicated Saturday night.
On May 28th at 9:37 p.m. Sergeant M.L. Jacobeen witnessed a driver disregard a red light and No U-turn sign at the intersection of Warrenton Road and Olde Forge Drive. A traffic stop was conducted and Deputy S.M. Craig responded to assist.

The driver was identified as Anthony Hill, 37, of Spotsylvania. Hill had bloodshot, glassy eyes and an odor of alcoholic beverage. The deputies learned Hill’s license was revoked for DUI.

Hill was arrested and charged with DUI third offense in five years, driving revoked DUI, driving after forfeiture of license, obstruction and refusal. He was held without bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.

Drive sober or get pulled over.
