A suspect was arrested for a drug charge after a traffic stop in Stafford County Thursday night.
On March 24th at 9:27 p.m. Deputy M.A. Pearce stopped a vehicle at Colonial Forge High School after witnessing the driver disregard a stop sign. The driver was identified as John Borggreen, 40, of Stafford.
Deputy F.A. Martinez and his partner K-9 Mija responded to the scene to conduct an exterior sniff. K-9 Mija alerted to the odor of narcotics in the vehicle and a search was conducted. A suspected controlled substance was located in the center console.
Borggreen was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and held without bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail. |
