The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate a homicide that occurred yesterday afternoon in a North Stafford apartment complex.

On February 21st at 2:42 p.m. deputies responded to the area of 205 Garrison Woods Drive for a shooting. As deputies arrived, they observed witnesses performing first aid on the gunshot victim. Stafford County Fire and Rescue transported the victim to the hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries at 3:21 p.m.

The victim has been identified as Christopher McDuffie, 25, of Stafford. The initial investigation revealed McDuffie was shot several times in the courtyard between the apartment buildings. The suspect is described as a medium complexion black male in his twenties, 5’10” tall, 175 pounds, wearing a black ski mask, skull cap, grey sweats and a blue hoodie. The suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
