The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a vehicle break-in which occurred at 1090 Stafford Market Place (Target) on March 6 at 2:12 p.m. The victim reported her vehicle was broken into while she was inside the business. It appeared the suspect forced entry through the rear passenger side window. Debit/credit cards, cash, and various other items were reported stolen. The victim discovered the stolen cards were used to make several fraudulent transactions. Further investigation revealed the suspect was involved in a shoplifting at Target just prior to the incident.

The suspect is a white male in his mid-20s with light brown straight hair. He was seen wearing a light-colored sweatshirt, black vest, ripped blue jeans, and a white baseball cap worn backwards. He also has a heart shaped tattoo under his eye. He was seen occupying a dark colored Honda 4-door sedan.

Anyone with information on this suspect or incident is asked to contact Deputy M.E. Gordon at (540) 658-4400 or by email at mgordon@staffordcountyva.gov. Tips can also be submitted by texting STAFFORD + your tip to 274-637.
