UPDATE: Gary Martin was apprehended in Richmond on April 15, 2021.

On December 28, 2020, Sergeant R.W. Jones took a report for a construction fraud. The victim reported he paid the suspect, Gary Martin, 54, of Henrico, $7,350 to complete landscaping working on his property. Two workers came and performed only one hour of work on the property. The victim made repeated requests for Martin to have the work completed, but he never finished the agreed upon work. Sgt. Jones began investigating and determined Martin was not a licensed contractor like he had claimed.

Gary Martin is wanted for obtaining money by false pretenses, construction fraud, false advertising, and operating without contractor’s license.
