| Stafford, Va. The Stafford County Sheriff's Office reports the arrest of two suspects who allegedly committed a home invasion robbery that took place in Stafford County on Thursday, August 12, 2010. Arrested was Mickel Marciano Brown, age 18, of 6406 Hazel Court, Fredericksburg, Va. and Cyndi Jeannet Calderon-Orduna, age 18, of 185 Quarles Road, Fredericksburg, Va.
Mickel Brown has been charged with 7 Counts Breaking and Entering While Armed With a Deadly Weapon, 7 Counts of Armed Robbery, 7 Counts of Using a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony, 7 Counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, 7 Counts of Conspiracy to Commit a Felony, 7 Counts of Wearing a Mask in Public and 7 Counts of Abduction With Intent to Extort Money.
Cyndi Calderon-Orduna has been charged with 1 Count of Breaking and Entering While Armed With a Deadly Weapon, 1 Count of Armed Robbery, 1 Count of Using a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony, 1 Count of Conspiracy to Commit a Felony, 1 Count of Wearing a Mask in Public and 1 Count of Abduction With Intent to Extort Money.
Detective Chris Cameron's investigation led authorities to the suspects' location which was the Motel 6 on Warrenton Road in Stafford County. On the evening of Wednesday, August 18, 2010, Stafford Detectives along with members of the Sheriff's Office Special Problems Unit and members of the United States Marshals Service entered the hotel room where Brown and Calderon-Orduna were staying and took both suspects into custody without incident. Items from the robbery were located on the suspects as well as in the hotel room at the time of the arrest. Both Brown and Calderon-Orduna are currently incarcerated in the Rappahannock Regional Jail under no bond.
On Thursday, August 12, 2010 two suspects entered a residence in the 900 block of Anvil Road, in Stafford County, and while armed, robbed the 7 individuals who were staying at the residence.
The Stafford County Sheriff's Office would like to thank the Unites States Marshals Service for their assistance and resources in helping arrest these two dangerous suspects.
