Stafford, Va. The Stafford County Sheriff's Office reports the arrest of three individuals who have been charged in the attempted robbery of two different victims who had come to Stafford County, on July 18, to purchase items that had been listed on Craigslist. The individuals arrested are Jarren Arees Fields, age 20, of 80 Dent Road, Stafford, Rashad Jamar Lightfoot, age 19, of 8 Apple Tree Lane, Stafford and Adrian Marquelle,Clark, age 20, of 120 Holmes Street, Stafford.

Jarren Fields has been charged with 1 Count of Attempted Robbery, 1 Count of Conspiracy to Commit Robbery and 1 Count of Attempted Malicious Wounding. Rashad Lightfoot and Adrian Clark have been charged with 2 Counts of Attempted Robbery, 2 Counts of Conspiracy to Commit Robbery, 1 Count Attempted Assault by Mob and 1 Count of Malicious Wounding. All three suspects are currently incarcerated at the Rappahannock Regional Jail. Fields is being held on a $15,000 dollar bond. Lightfoot and Clark are being held on no bond.

Deputy Brandon Morris's investigation was assisted by a tip from a citizen who had seen the story of the attempted robberies on television. Jarren Fields turned himself in at the end of July. Rashad Lightfoot was arrested in early August, in Woodbridge, at the home of a relative with the assistance of the Prince William County Police. The third suspect, Adrian Clark, was arrested last night, August 12 at his Stafford County home.

On July 18 two different victims had allegedly been lured to Stafford County, by the suspects, to purchase items the suspects had listed on Craigslist. The victims met the suspects at the prearranged location in Stafford County. When the first victim arrived the suspects attempted to rob and assault the victim. This victim was able to chase away the suspects. He then went to the Sheriff's Office to report the incident. While the first victim was meeting the deputy at the Sheriffs' Office the second victim came to the same pre-arranged location. He was assaulted by one of the suspects and then ran to the Sheriff's Office, which is located near the spot where the victim was assaulted.
