Update: Christopher Milbourne was apprehended in Spotsylvania County yesterday. He was held without bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.

On September 15 at 5:02 p.m. Deputy A.W. Sypolt observed a vehicle driving at a high-rate of speed and saw it run the red light at the intersection of Kings Highway and Jett Drive. The deputy attempted a traffic stop on the vehicle and the driver began to flee. During the pursuit, the driver sped through a parking lot, almost struck several vehicles, and struck a traffic sign. The pursuit was terminated, but Deputy Sypolt was later able to identify the driver as Christopher Milbourne, 38, of Spotsylvania. Milbourne is wanted for eluding, hit & run, and reckless driving.
