Stafford, VA. A suspect behind a string of residential burglaries in the Crescent Pointe subdivision has been arrested by units with the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.

On May 7, 2019, the Sheriff’s Office received two separate reports of residential burglaries on Pilot Knob Loop. In the first incident, a resident reported that an unknown suspect had broken into her home and stolen Chinese food from the refrigerator. Security cameras inside the home captured the suspect walking around the living room and rummaging through a purse.

The second burglary occurred at a nearby residence. The resident reported than an unknown suspect broke into her home and stole her son’s PlayStation and a couple video games.

Several witnesses were able to identify the suspect as Summer Davis, 26, of Stafford based on the security camera footage. On May 9, 2019, a search warrant was executed at the suspect’s residence and several stolen items from the burglaries, including the gaming console, were located in the home.

Davis admitted to burglarizing three residences on Pilot Knob Loop as well as a residence on Malvern Hill Court. She was taken into custody on charges of burglary, grand larceny, petit larceny, and obtaining money by false pretenses. She was incarcerated at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
