Happening Now: The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a reported threat to Rodney E. Thompson Middle School. This morning, the school was placed on a partial lockdown for 40 minutes for an internal and external search of the school with the K9 unit. After a thorough investigation, the Sheriff’s Office determined the threat was not credible. The incident remains under investigation.
