The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that this morning, Monday, April 27, 2015 Stafford deputies responded to a call of numerous gun shots being heard in the area of Clint Lane.

At 5:01 this morning deputies responded to the area of Clint Lane in southern Stafford County for reports of shots fired. When deputies arrived on scene they found 1 male subject, on the ground, dead from apparent gunshot wounds. Currently Stafford detectives and deputies are on scene investigating. There is no further danger to the community.

A notification was sent out to residents in the affected community informing them of the incident. In addition, the Transportation Department of the Stafford County School System was also notified so that appropriate route changes could be made in that area.
