Motorists encouraged to check 511Virginia for real-time updates

FREDERICKSBURG – Two lanes of northbound Interstate 95 will be closed overnight next week for milling and paving between exit 126/Spotsylvania and exit 130/Route 3 at Fredericksburg.

Weather permitting, work has been scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 10-Thursday, Aug. 14 during the following hours:

Sunday, Aug. 10
• Two northbound lanes close at 10 p.m.
• All lanes re-open by 4:30 a.m.

Monday, Aug. 11-Thursday, Aug. 14
• One northbound lane closes at 9 p.m.
• A second northbound lane closes at 10 p.m.
• All lanes re-open by 4:30 a.m.

Motorists are encouraged to use Route 1 to avoid delays.
