The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that the suspicious person and suspicious activity incident reported in the Vista Woods subdivision in Stafford County on Wednesday, July 8, 2014 is a fabrication.

Stafford Detectives interviewed the 9 year old boy, who reported the incident, and determined that the youth made up the story of the male subject approaching him and telling him to get into his truck. Indications are that the young boy made up the story so that he would not get in trouble for an unrelated incident.
