Just a reminder that unless it is posted that no turn is permitted, a motorist may make a right turn on red, but only after coming to a full and complete stop and yielding the right of way (Va. Code 46.2-835). Failing to come to a stop at a red light constitutes running a red light (Va. Code 46.2-833).
A motorist may make a left turn on red after coming to a full and complete stop, yielding to the right of way, no signs are posted prohibiting such turn only if turning onto a one-way street (46.2-836).
