OCTOBER 28 – UPDATE: The utility work that will close two lanes on I-95 and the I-95 ramps from Route 610 and at Exit 143 has been rescheduled. The work will take place on Thursday, October 31 and Friday, November 1. Please see details about the closure below. UPDATE: The I-95 lane and ramp closures have been cancelled for the evening of Thursday, October 10 due to weather conditions. A new date will be announced when the gas line inspection work is rescheduled.
FREDERICKSBURG – On the evenings of Wednesday, Oct. 9 and Thursday, Oct. 10, Columbia Gas of Virginia will inspect gas lines located on the Route 610 (Garrisonville Road) overpass at Interstate 95 in Stafford County. Two lanes of I-95 will be closed each evening for the inspection work, and entrance ramps will be affected at interstate Exit 143A (Aquia) and Exit 143B (Garrisonville). Motorists can expect the following lane and ramp closures associated with the inspection work: Wednesday, Oct. 9
Thursday, Oct. 10
Detour signs will be posted to guide motorists to the proper ramps.
