LANE CLOSURES THURSDAY NIGHT
ON NORTHBOUND ROUTE 17 IN STAFFORD
Closures scheduled between South Gateway/Sanford Drive and McLane Drive

FREDERICKSBURG – The left lane and center lane of northbound Route 17 in Stafford County will be closed for a 2-hour period on the evening of Thursday, Aug. 8 between South Gateway Drive/Sanford Drive and McLane Drive.

These northbound lanes will be closed from 10 p.m. until midnight.

Northbound motorists will not be allowed to turn left at Sanford Drive and McLane Drive during the work zone. Motorists should make a U-turn at the next available traffic signal, and proceed south on Route 17 to reach their destination.

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will be taking core pavement samples.
