SAFETY DAY IS COMING

Stafford, Va. The Stafford County Sheriff's Office and the Stafford County Fire & Rescue Department announce a Mutual Safety Day on Saturday, June 1, 2013 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. This family event will be held at the Wal-Mart on Rt. 17 in Stafford County.

Come join members of the Stafford County Sheriff's Office as they have a free child car seat safety check, a motorcycle demonstration and a K-9 demonstration. Members of the Sheriff's Office Bicycle Unit will also be on hand and will have a Bike Rodeo. Citizens are invited to bring their bicycles for a quick safety check.

The Stafford County Fire & Rescue Department will have several pieces of fire apparatus available for citizens of all ages to check out.
