REMINDER: VDOT TO HOLD "PARDON OUR DUST" MEETING
ON THURSDAY, MAY 23
Public is invited to learn more about Route 17 widening project in Stafford County

FREDERICKSBURG—The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) invites the public to attend a "Pardon Our Dust" meeting on Thursday, May 23 to learn more about upcoming construction plans to widen Route 17 in Stafford County.

North Building

Fredericksburg, VA 22406
VDOT staff will be available continuously from 5-7 p.m. at the University of Mary Washington-Stafford Campus, North Building, to share construction plans and maps, provide information materials, and answer questions.
A brief presentation on the project will be delivered at 6 p.m.
Construction to widen a 2-mile segment of Route 17 will begin in mid-June. Route 17 will be widened from 4 to 6 lanes between McLane Drive and Stafford Lakes Parkway.
For anyone unable to attend the meeting, all materials will be posted to the project website on Thursday, May 23:
