River Road Has Reopened.
River Road in Stafford County has been reopened to through traffic.

It was closed earlier so that a contractor could safely remove a tree that fell as a result of the rain storm that occurred late Friday, April 19.

The tree is on County property at St. Clair Brooks Park and was being held in place by other trees. It was removed so that it does not pose a danger to motorists or visitors to the area. Brooks Park, the Historic Port of Falmouth, Pratt Park and the Belmont-Ferry Farm Trail are all open as well.
