BE THE MVP OF SAFE DRIVING ON SUPER BOWL SUNDAY
The Stafford County Sheriff's Office, in conjunction with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Virginia Smart, Safe and Sober Campaign is spreading the word about an important safety message dealing with designating a sober driver on Super Bowl Sunday. On Sunday, February 3, 2013, Super Bowl Sunday, the Stafford County Sheriff's Office will have extra deputies on the road, helping to ensure that the roads are safe and help stop anyone who makes the dangerous decision to drink and drive. The message this Sunday is clear "Fans Don't Let Fans Drive Drunk". "Before choosing to drink and drive, choose a sober designated driver. Avoid the unsportsmanlike conduct of driving drunk by handing off your keys so that you, your passengers and everyone on our roads can safely arrive home," states Sheriff Charles Jett. |
