Fatal Accident on Warrenton Road |

| STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. – At approximately 4:50 a.m., on October 8, 2026, the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office responded to an auto accident involving a motorcycle and a vehicle at the intersection of Village Parkway and Warrenton Road. Information was provided that the motorcycle had broken down in the left through lane when it was struck by the vehicle. Both Northbound and Southbound lanes on Warrenton Road were shut down for an extended period of time while medical aid was provided and the Traffic Safety Unit conducted its preliminary investigation. The road was reopened a few hours later. The motorcycle driver was pronounced deceased at the scene. Their next of kin has been notified. Based on our initial investigation, there is no indication that impairment or speed was a factor in the accident at this time.
