Four Juveniles Arrested for Armed Robbery |

| STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. – On the night of July 18, 2026, the Stafford County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of shots fired on Ebenezer Church Road. The investigation revealed the victims had traveled to the area to sell a Spyder-brand sweatshirt to a buyer found through Facebook Marketplace. Upon arriving, the suspect briefly met with the victims before returning to one of the apartments. A short time later, the suspect emerged with additional suspects, some of whom were armed. The victims fled the area in their vehicle as the suspects opened fire. During the incident, the sweatshirt was stolen. As detectives processed the scene, they determined the suspects had entered a vacant apartment through a window and used it to wait for the victims. The suspects left on foot before deputies arrived. Detectives dedicated countless hours to executing multiple search warrants, conducting surveillance in the surrounding area and thoroughly reviewing all available evidence. Their diligent investigation revealed the armed robbery had been planned, resulting in additional charges. Ultimately, detectives identified, located and arrested four suspects, all of whom were juveniles. The sweatshirt was recovered during the investigation. Each juvenile was charged with two counts of attempted aggravated malicious wounding, two counts of armed robbery, two counts of conspiracy to commit armed robbery, one count of shooting into an occupied vehicle and one count of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. All four juveniles were held at the Rappahannock Regional Juvenile Detention Center.
