On January 11, 2026, at approximately 9:07 p.m., deputies arrived on scene of a single-vehicle accident on Dunbar Drive near the intersection of Rock Hill Church Road.

The investigation determined that the vehicle left the roadway and collided with a tree. The sole occupant of the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The decedent was identified as Jeremy Regis, 49, of Stafford. The investigation into the cause of the accident is on-going, however preliminary investigation shows that speed was a factor in the crash.
