Detectives are investigating a string of larcenies from vehicles that occurred in North Stafford.

In the early morning hours of May 27th, multiple deputies responded to the Azalea Woods and Stafford Oaks Subdivision for larcenies. It was discovered numerous vehicles were unlawfully entered and personal items were taken. Among the stolen items were cash, credit cards, electronic devices, and Yeezy boots. Two vehicles were also reported stolen; however, were quickly located unoccupied nearby by deputies canvassing that area.

Using camera footage in the area, it was discovered three males were involved in the string of larcenies. In many cases, the victim had left their vehicle unlocked overnight. The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office encourages residents to adopt a 9PM routine to verify the security of their personal items. Remove all valuables from your vehicle and double check all vehicles are locked.

Anyone with information regarding the string of larcenies is asked to contact Detective S.M. Craig at 540-658-4450.
