Detectives are asking for the community’s assistance in solving recent vehicle break-ins.

On March 6th, in the early morning hours, deputies responded to the Rappahannock Landing Subdivision for multiple larcenies from vehicles. Approximately 13 different vehicles were tampered with, many of which were unlocked. The suspects stole a wide range of items including wallets, an iPad, jewelry, a drone, and even a handgun. One victim was able to capture Ring footage of four males that appear to be juveniles, attempting to enter vehicles at 3:02 a.m.

We encourage residents to always lock their vehicles. Make sure all valuables have been removed. If you have home security cameras, make sure they are properly working. Above all else, if you see something, say something. Anyone with information, or video footage of suspicious persons the morning of March 6th, can contact Detective H.D. Young at 540-658-4450.
