Yesterday, at approximately 6:39 p.m. Deputy C.T. Richardson responded to Healy Court for three incidents of vehicles being tampered with. One resident’s security camera shows a tall thin male pull on vehicle handles in an attempt to gain entry at 3:00 a.m. Three vehicles were unlawfully entered and rummaged around in. Luckily, nothing was taken.

Now is a great time to remind everyone the importance of locking your vehicle. Whether your vehicle will be left unattended for hours, or just minutes, it is good practice to lock up your vehicle to prevent easy access to thieves. Not only that, but be sure to remove all valuable items from your vehicle. Purses, phones, and even firearms are often stolen from vehicles.
