Yesterday, Deputy S.A. Hensley responded to two vehicles break ins that occurred at Falmouth Beach. Both vehicles had their windows smashed and valuables stolen from them.

As a reminder, locking your vehicle is not enough to prevent having wallets or purses stolen. It is good practice to always take items of value with you, and not to leave them in plain sight inside your vehicle. Places like Falmouth Beach, Government Island, parks, and sports complexes are targets as the weather heats up. This crime is not unique to Stafford County, so be sure to exercise caution wherever you travel.
